MILANO HADDINGTON ROAD WELCOMES A NEW LOOK
Milano is celebrating the launch of its exciting new look restaurant on Haddington Road, South Dublin. The family friendly restaurant has been totally transformed, and features a new Pizzaiola at the entrance to enhance the customer experience.
Each Milano restaurant is individually designed – often using well known places, people or historical events from the area as a basis. As Milano is set partly in the well-known former AIB Victoria House building, this stylish restaurant has always received acclaim for its exceptional design; which has only been intensified by the recent refurbishment.
For Haddington Road, rugby has had a strong influence throughout the artwork due to the restaurant’s proximity to the Aviva Stadium – Ireland’s premier sports stadium – which is known for hosting international rugby matches.
A distinct space in front of the bar at the entrance will provide the perfect welcome area and seating for guests on arrival. New feature pendant and wall lighting and decoration is present throughout the space, whilst outside, modern furniture, planting and festoon lighting along the river will create the perfect atmosphere to dine in what is already one of Dublin’s largest and most popular “al fresco” areas.
Milano has been dishing up fresh, handmade pizza to Haddington Road customers since 1995. Restaurant Manager Vaida Steponkute said: “We are delighted to welcome both familiar and new faces to the revamped restaurant. Families and local businesses have been integral to our success over the past number of years and we look forward to serving even more delicious pizzas to our customers.”
The newly refurbished venue will act as the ideal setting for guests to try Milano’s winter specials, the ‘Etna’ and the ‘Barbacoa’ which are available nationwide. Adult pizza fans can look forward to washing down their gourmet dinner with a glass of Sloe Prosecco while younger diners can enjoy the Piccolo children’s menu which offers three courses for just €8.50.
