BloggerConf Attracts Ireland’s Blogging Elite
Saturday’s BLOGGERCONF in the Marker Hotel, Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, generated a storm of positivity online as the third event brings even greater speakers and the biggest audience to date.
The prestigious line-up included guest speakers like Anne-Marie Tomchak, Editor of MashableUK, Businesswoman Oonagh O’Hagan the MD of Meaghers Pharmacy, editor of Stellar Magazine and founder of beaut.ie, Kirstie Mc Dermott; Eleanor Mannion, Mobile Journalist from the RTE Newsroom as well as bloggers Johnny Ward from OneStep4ward, Anouska and Joanne Larby.
Attendees on the day included leading and emerging Irish bloggers along with key influencers Kelly Donegan, Rosemary McCabe, TV3’s Debbie O Donnell and snapchat superstar James Butler.
The event is designed to celebrate and recognise the increasing importance and role of bloggers and digital influencers in Ireland, and uniquely bring them together with Irish brand experts to address digital engagement strategies, community management and the key challenges facing those wishing to grow and engage audiences online.
Emma says the key to standing out in the industry is to always stay “one step ahead and trying to bring something new to the conference so that attendees will always gain from it, learn and be inspired.” She seeks out speakers that are different, that will bring new insights to the table and networking is of utmost importance too. “Our lineup is really important to us and we have been really lucky to secure industry leaders from digital media, photography, global companies and top influencers. Our vision is to be the leading event of its kind in Europe.”
After a hugely positive, informative event attendees left armed with the requisite skills to make it in the world of blogging, and got to take home brilliant goodie bags brimming with treats from sponsors including Lifes2Good, Meaghers Pharmacy, Blacknight Solutions, Snap Ireland, Just Eat and Di Milo Hairdressers.
