The Shabra Charity, Oliver Brady Memorial Fundraiser, in aid of Genomic (Gene) Sequencing Equipment at the Mater Hospital, Dublin took place at Leopardstown Racecourse Pavillion on Sunday 24th January and was a galloping success.
Close to 800 people arrived to support the wonderful charity and chief organizer, Rita Shah, was delighted to share that nearly €60,590 was raised on the day.
Guest of honour was former Liverpool footballer Ian Rush and his beautiful girlfriend Carol Anthony. Gerald Kean and Lisa Murphy were also on hand to show their support, Kerry footballer Kieran Donaghy arrive with his friends while jockey Barry Geraghty happily spoke to guest before winning races.
The best dressed lady, chosen by RSVP, was Susan Hand while the runner up was Rose McBride.
