Yes folks, it is that time of year again!
On Sunday November 22nd, the Morrison Hotel on Dublin’s Ormond Quay will devote the day to a fundraising Festive Afternoon Tea in aid of the Irish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (ISPCC).
Due to the success of The Morrison’s unique Gentlemen’s Afternoon Tea, this year the event will be even bigger, with a choice of a traditional Afternoon Tea, or the more macho version! Tickets are priced €35 per person, including a cocktail on arrival with tables of two, four or more available for booking. The full ticket price is donated to the ISPCC with The Morrison covering all the costs on the day to help raise as much as possible!
Guests can look forward to an afternoon of treats, entertainment and special guests, and are invited to bring new toys and children’s gift to be donated to the ISPCC. There will also be a raffle with lots of exciting prizes to be won.
“This is our second year to host a Festive Afternoon Tea for the ISPCC, and it has certainly grown!” said Patrick Joyce, General Manager, The Morrison. “Last year we raised nearly €4,000 and I’m confident that we’ll beat that total this November.”
The stylish Morrison Hotel is already a favourite destination for their indulgent Afternoon Tea. Served daily with great panache, it’s the perfect pre or post shopping pick-me-up and includes a selection of the delicacies such as miniature desserts, classic sandwiches and home-made scones. Afternoon tea is served with a choice of tea or coffee but you can always opt for a glass of bubbles! For the Gents, the recently launched Gentlemen’s Tea is a must have. Think hearty savoury scones, a steak sandwich, a sausage, a slider and more, washed down with a pint of Wicklow Wolf!
