Lorraine Keanes second #Keane On Style event took place last Thursday night in Cafe du Journal in Monkstown and a full house of fashionistas attended the soiree of fashion, beauty demonstrations and skincare tutorials.The fashion show styled by Keane and produced by Derek Daniels with Assets models alongside , Style-Ikon, No2Morrow, Divine, No38Dunville, Style-Jump and Seagreen boutiques, Janet Byrne knitwear, Aria V Jewellery, Vivien Walsh jewellery, Kimono Gypsy. Keanes Sister duo, industry experts Tori and Becky Keane – head of dbface at Dylan Bradshaw and Top Hair Stylist on TV3’s Ireland AM – presented DIY masterclasses, Peggy Stringer, skin expert at Monkstown Laser Skin Clinic gave us advice on ‘How to have younger looking skin’, Pilates guru Eva Berg gave us advice on exercise, while Up To My Eyes told us all about ‘beauty maintenance’, all the while the audience looked on eating plates of delicious tapas and drinking Spanish wines.“I decided to curate some fun nights out for women which gives me the opportunity to share all the wonderful designers, independent boutiques, beauty professionals, products and services that I have discovered over the course of my career. I’m always asked, where do you buy your clothes? What products do you use? Knowledge is key! It’s nice to share what I call ‘the tricks of the trade’ with other women.Tickets were priced at a very reasonable €40 which included everything, including a donation to the Rape Crisis centre and guests went home with a fantastic goody bag packed with treats from Hi Hair in Monkstown, a unique piece from Kimono Gypsy, Eva Berg pilates DVD, Perfume, magazines, discount cards for all the boutiques and lots more…..worth €75.The next #Keane On Style Event will take place at The Blue Haven Hotel in Kinsale, Co Cork…..with some exciting new additions in the line-up.Tickets can be purchased at the venue or at Lorraine Keane Official Facebook.Pictures: Mark Boland
